The Risk Based Thinking course provides participants with an understanding of the principles and practices of managing risk in a quality management system. Over the course of 3 days, participants will learn how to identify, assess, and prioritize risks and opportunities, and develop strategies for mitigating or exploiting them.
Course Outline
- Day 1: Introduction to Risk Based Thinking
Participants will learn the basic concepts and principles of risk management, and how they apply to a quality management system. Topics covered include Risk Assessment, Risk Identification, and Risk Prioritization. - Day 2: Developing a Risk Management Plan
Participants will learn how to develop and implement a risk management plan that meets ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Topics covered include Risk Management Strategies, Risk Mitigation, and Risk Monitoring. - Day 3: Risk Based Thinking in Practice
Participants will learn how to apply risk based thinking to real-world quality management scenarios. Topics covered include Risk Management Tools, Risk Based Thinking Techniques, and Risk Based Thinking in Auditing.
At the end of the Risk Based Thinking course, participants will have a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, and will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage risk in their organizations.
